Neuro rehabilitation unit set up at GGH
A complete neuro rehabilitation unit has been inaugurated at the department of neurology, GGH, Guntur.
Head of the Department of Neurology N.V. Sundarachary said the unit had been built with contribution of Rs. 21 lakh from K. Rama Koteswara Rao, an oncologist from the U.S. and an alumnus of the Guntur Medical College. A matching grant of Rs. 80 lakh was contributed by the Rotary Club of Guntur.
This corpus was utilised to establish a separate male and female neuro rehabilitation units in the department, he said.
